St Wilfrid's Hopsice

Many of you will already be familiar with the amazing support and service that they provide - St Wilfrid’s Hospice is a truly wonderful local charity who's mission is to transform end of life care for the people of Eastbourne, Seaford, Hailsham, Uckfield, Heathfield and all the points in between serving a population of 235,000 people.

Their expert teams work to help people to live well until the end of their lives and to support their family and friends. St Wilfrid's are a charity that rely on voluntary gifts to support over 70% of our vital work.

It costs just over £15,000 a day to provide their care and support services across our catchment area.

Our promise to St Wilfrid's Hospice...

We were delighted to make our 2020 Christmas donation of £5000 to St Wilfrid's Hospice and will continue our support through 2021. This year, we're aiming to double our donation and we hope you will join us to make this possible.

For every property that completes, we will donate an additional £50 to St Wilfrid's, and we're inviting our sellers to match our donation if they can.

How else can you support?

Paint the town red for their Ruby Anniversary!

Over the past 40 years, your generous support has seen St Wilfrid's grow from small beginnings to the point where they are supporting over 2,200 people each year in the community, through their Inpatient Unit and through their wellbeing and carers support. In 2021, they want to celebrate your support over the past 40 years, sharing stories and memories and publicising your fundraising efforts.

2020 has been a tough year for the hospice, with more people needing care and pressure on fundraising because of Covid-19 restrictions. We hope that, with your help, we can raise the funds that we need to keep going for the next 40 years, helping people in our community to live well until the end of their lives.
